JAH Pilgrimage Tours

African American Journalist Tour 2005

In building the bridge between African America and South Africa, JAH invited 17 key African American journalists, a group embodying the pulse of the African American community - from its grass roots to captains of industry including culture, education, religion and politics - to South Africa. -The purpose of this invitation was to allow these individuals to experience the fertile grounds on which the foundation of the multi-layered bridge would be built.

On the 27th September 2005, upon arrival at Johannesburg International Airport, home of South African Airways; they were greeted with a warm welcome to the Motherland in an authentic South African tradition by Ms Valencia Kheswa (South Africa's leading traditional poet).
